How you ended up in the Quirks
I got a gig working at a recording studio in Hollywood. David was the night manager there. The two of us would have to stay there until the wee hours setting up the next day's sessions/cleaning/etc. While we were waiting for the clients to finish for the day, we would write songs on the guitar in the front office. Whenever the studio saw some downtime, we would run in there are record those songs. Before we knew it, we had an album's worth of material. David and I both came up with a list of like 20 differnent band names to call our project. I seem to remember "The Quirks" was on David's list. The name stuck out, and we've been The Quirks ever since.

Previous band history
When I was 15, I was in a band called "One Nation Underground". Those recording are pretty priceless. All throughout college, I was in Ska Core band called "Charlie Pathetic". Also priceless.

Nerdiest thing about you
Pretty hard to single out one thing, seeing as there are so many. I have some pretty exclusive knowledge when it comes to comic books, and have pretty good Pez collection going.

Favorite Horror movie
Does Donnie Darko count? I know it's more of a Sci Fi thriller, but it's way scarier than any "horror" movie. I like the old Fright Night series. Creepshow is a pretty good one too.

Coke or Pepsi
I love them both. I wish they would join forces and start making Coksi.

Favorite/Funniest Quirks story
When we first started playing shows, we did an all ages gig in Encino. A group of girls showed up with signs that read, "We Love the Corks". There must have been some sort of typo on someone's high school flyer, but they screamed and held their signs during the show anyways. It was tough making it through that set with a straight face. Corks, Quirks, whatever.
